HN wrestlers compete

Four Huntington North High School varsity wrestlers competed at the semi-state level on Saturday, Feb. 13, at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.

Senior Julian Fletcher would find success in the first round of the competition, but fell short of qualifying for the state wrestling tournament to Aiden Hardcastle.

Other competitors from HNHS included Luke Teusch, Nate Elliot and Aidan Raab. Teusch, Elliot and Raab fell in their first round of competition.

Head coaches of the varsity wrestling team are Neil Teusch and George Markou. Other coaches included junior varsity coach Kyle Fluck and assistant coaches Josh Beekly and Jeff VanRyn.
