Vikings take soccer wins on Sept. 1

Huntington North boys’’ varsity soccer competed against Columbia City at home on Tuesday, Sept. 1, earning a hard-fought win in overtime for senior night. Goals were made by Gabe Castillo, Ashton Hosler and Kolton Foster, with assists made by Braden Estep and Kolton Foster. This brings the overall varsity record to 3-3-1 and the conference record 2-1.

The junior varsity team also won over Columbia City with a score of 2-0. Goals were made by Sully Marshall and Noah Ray, and assists were made by Joe Belovich and Riley Jones.

The Huntington North girls’ varsity soccer team traveled to Columbia City on Tuesday, Sept. 1, coming away with a 2-1 win. Addy Wiley made both Viking goals, assisted by Grace Gross and Kaylee Brooks. Maddie Husband had eight saves in goal.
