HNHS frosh boys to 9-0 on season

The Huntington North High School boys’ freshman basketball team won two more games last week to bring its record to 9-0 on the season.

The frosh Vikings beat Fort Wayne North Side, 45-32, on Wednesday, Jan. 8, at home, then came back to stop visiting East Noble, 44-29, on Friday, Jan. 10.

Tiler Carr led HNHS with 15 points against North Side. Aric Holsler added nine points, three assists and three steals, and Wes Huff had seven points, six rebounds and three assists.

Carr, Huff and Lawson Doyle each scored eight points against East Noble, with Trey Garber adding seven points. Carr added four rebounds to his stat line and Huff had six rebounds and three steals.
