No. 4 IWU spikers ruin home finale for HU pair

Visiting Indiana Wesleyan University ruined the home finale for two members of the Huntington University volleyball team with a 3-0 win on Saturday, Nov. 2.

IWU, ranked fourth nationally, ruined the Platt Arena finales for Paige Eakright and Elaine Bredensteiner behind scores of 25-23, 25-14 and 25-15.

Eakright posted a team-high nine kills to lead the Foresters, 14-18 overall and 6-11 in the Crossroads League. Lindsay Ingenito added six kills.

Jennings Tacosik moved the offense forward with 21 assists, and defensively, Ariene Butler and Eakright paced HU with 18 and 11 digs, respectively.
