Soccerboys up win string to five with OT win

The Huntington North High School boys’ varsity soccer team ran its winning streak to five games with a 1-0 victory in overtime against visiting Bellmont on Tuesday, Sept. 10.

After two scoreless halves in regulation, the Vikings finally lit up the scoreboard in the bonus period. Sophomore Gabe Castillo tallied the game-winning goal for Huntington North, with sophomore Brady Henline assisting.

Senior Aidan Hosler earned the win in goal, recording four saves.

With the win, the Vikings improve to 6-3-1 and sport a perfect 4-0 mark in Northeast 8 Conference play.
