HNHS swimboys lose regular season finale

Gearing up for the upcoming sectional, the Huntington North High School boys’ swim team lost its final regular season meet of the season on Tuesday, Feb. 5, falling to host Bluffton, 132-35.

Nathan York and Keegan Mautz got victories for the Vikings. York, a junior led freshman teammate Colten Schulte to a 1-2 finish in the 100-meter freestyle in 1:04.26, and Mautz, a senior, captured the 100-meter backstroke in 1:21.18.

Schulte added a second runner-up finished for HNHS in the 200-meter freestyle, touching the wall in 2:29.39.

The fourth member of the HNHS team, sophomore Cole Davidson, got second in the 100-meter breaststroke, in 1:28.43.

The four teamed up to place second in the 200-meter medley relay, coming home in 2:15.34.
