HNHS boy swimmers lose to Columbia City

Freshman Colten Schulte’s runner-up finish in the 100-yard freestyle highlighted the efforts of the Huntington North High School boys’ swim team in a 135-25 loss to visiting Columbia City on Monday, Dec. 3.

Schulte came home in 1:04.84 for the top points HNHS got in the meet. The frosh also claimed third in the 100-yard backstroke, touching the wall in 1:13.00.

Keegan Mautz and Cole Davidson also claimed third place finishes for the Vikes. Mautz went :27.24 in the 50-yard freestyle and Davidson went 1:22.40 in the 100-yard breaststroke.
