Gentry's all-conference honor paces HU harriers to fifth at CL

Adrien Gentry earned an all conference placing to lead the Huntington University men’s cross country team to fifth place at the Crossroads League Championships on Saturday, Nov. 3, at Taylor University.

Gentrie finished 15th out of 134 runners in 27:26.9 for the 8K course to claim his all-conference badge.

Aaron Hendryx claimed second man status for HU by running a 27:59.8 for 28th place. Nick Childs was 33rd in 28:09.1, Kevin Moser was 36th in 28:16.9 and Luke Zeddis was 47th in 28:59.7.

Kody Ahrens finished 61st in 29:21.3 and CJ Robertson was one shot further back in 29:28.2 to complete HU’s top seven.

HU scored 159 points as a team. Indiana Wesleyan University ran away with the title with 18 points. Taylor was runner-up with 79 points, Goshen was third with 103 points and Marian was fourth among the 10 teams with 143 points.
