The Huntington University men’s soccer team blanked visiting Bethel, 4-0, on Saturday, Oct. 6.
Goalkeeper Gabe Greenfield recorded his fifth shutout of the season by collecting four saves.
HU is now 8-4-1 on the season overall, and 3-1 in Crossroads League play.
HU evenly split its goal production for the two halves. Noah Stanford scored on a bicycle kick at the 21:31 mark for the game’s first tally and Ty Sproat notched the second HU score about 10 minutes later. Stanford found Matheus Louzada for an tap-in goal in the 79th minute before Bethel scored an own-goal for HU.
