Andrews, JD's atop PAL Little League standings

Andrews and JD’s Auto Detailing shared the top spot in PAL Little League standings after the first few weeks of play as both remained undefeated through last weekend.

Andrews stood at 5-0 after winning three games during the week, and JD’s was at 4-0 after winning a pair.

Andrews beat Novae, 10-2; shut out Mike’s Tree Service, 10-0; and bombed Persson’s Body Shop, 17-2. JD’s topped Helena, 7-5, and beat JRB Management, 7-2.

Novae is in third place in league standings at 3-1. Novae beat JRB, 12-2, and recorded a 4-4 tie with Builder’s Mart.

Kindler Landscaping is in fourth pace with a 3-2 mark. Kindler’s topped Helena, 16-4, and crushed C & C Auto Body, 14-3.

In the remainder of the league standings, Builders Mart is in fifth at 2-2, Helena is in sixth at 2-3, Mike’s Tree Service and Pearson’s are both at 1-3, JRB is at 1-4 and C & C was at 0-4.

In the rest of the games for the week, Pearson’s topped JRB, 9-1; Mike[‘s edged Builders Mart, 9-8; Builders Mart beat Pearson’s, 6-4; and Helena topped C & C, 8-1.

In Coaches Pitch, Auto Brokers and Eagle Excavating stand atop the league standings with matching records of 4-0. Fire Fighters and Frederick’s follow next with records of 3-1. Andrews, Farm Bureau and Parkview First Care are all at 3-2.

Auto Brokers won a pair and tied one during the week. Its win came against Parkview First Care, 10-8, and Z-Place, 24-7.

Eagle also won two and had the tie. Its wins came against Farm Bureau Insurance, 18-4, and Parkview Hospital, 11-2.

Fire Fighters beat Z Place, 9-5, and First Care, 10-5. Frederick’s lost to Parkview Hospital, 4-3, but swamped Mettler Insurance, 17-0, and edged Fire Fighters, 10-8.

Andrews beat First Federal Savings Bank, 18-13; won 16-13 over Z Place and topped Farm Bureau Insurance, 13-11.

In the rest of the games for the week, Parkview Hospital downed Mettler, 16-6; Metro Kiwanis dumped First Federal Savings Bank, 18-10; Farm Bureau beat Metro Kiwanis, 15-13; and First Care beat First Federal, 9-1.
