HU men bowlers sixth at Raider Classic

The Huntington University men’s bowling team captured sixth place out of 27 teams at the Roto Grip Raider Classic, held Saturday, Nov. 11, and Sunday, Nov. 12, at Beaver Vu Bowl, in Beavercreek, OH.

The Foresters were led by Justin Coleman, who averaged 215 over the course of five team games on Saturday. Huntington ended the day with a total of 4,881 pins, which left them in 10th place. On Sunday, the Foresters shot a 4,120 in 20 baker games, which was the fourth-highest pin fall total of the day to finish sixth, which is their best placement this season.

In junior varsity action, Huntington placed sixth out of 14 teams. The Foresters were paced by Jordan Herring, who averaged 198 for five games. The team’s finish was its highest of the year.
