DeKalb pins first loss on Lady Vike soccergirls

Visiting DeKalb pinned the Huntington North High  School girls’ varsity soccer team with its first loss of the season on Monday, Sept. 11, dropping the Lady Vikes 3-2.

DeKalb tallied the only goal of the first half, and both teams tallied twice in the second as HNHS goes to 9-1 on the season.

Karmen Koch and Amaya Sunderman had the Lady Viking goals. Hannah Tillett assisted on both of the scores, but was stopped from scoring at least a goal for the first time this season.

Goalie Maddie Husband stopped five shots from DeKalb.
