HNHS netboys sweep pst New Haven

Getting shutouts at two of three singles, the Huntington North High School boys’ varsity tennis team blanked host New Haven, 5-0, on Thursday, Sept. 7.

Improving to .500 on the season at 5-5, the Vikings got 6-0, 6-0 blank jobs from Auden Eckert at first singles and Thomas Schweller at second singles. Noah Zahn at third singles got a forfeit win.

The second doubles team of Jarrett Gray and Adam Zahm were just a tick off the shutout, defeating Chase Geier and Christopher Moore, 6-0, 6-1.

The first doubles team of Spencer Atkinson and Clark Kitchen won their first set, 6-0, but lost the second 6-7 before coming back for a 7-2 win to take the match.
