HNHS girl bowlers defeat Blackford

The Huntington North High School girls' bowling team defeated host Blackford on Tuesday, Nov. 17, at Northside Lanes in Hartford City.

The first game saw HNHS take home an 836-316 victory, with senior Brittany Notestine leading the way with 197. Senior Elizabeth Bischoff had 180, sophomore Ayla Yeiter and senior Tonya Crago each had 169 and senior Lesley Love had 121.

In the second round, the Lady Vikings beat Blackford 979-384, with Crago taking the lead by rolling 224. Bischoff had 218, Notestine took 211, junior Sierra Rice had 193 and Yeiter rolled 133.

The HNHS girls will have their first home meet of the season against Bluffton at Oak Lanes on Saturday, Nov. 21, at 2 p.m.
