Riverview wins 3 of 4 on track

Riverview won three of the four track meets Wednesday, April 23, against visiting Oak Hill and Wabash.
The Raider boys won the seventh grade meet, while both Raider girls' teams won.
Logan Hippensteel won both the 200 and 400-meter dashes to pace the seventh grade boys. Damon Kaylor took the shot put and the 400-meter relay team of Andrew Smekens, Dom Shively, Noland Hughes and Sam White was also on top.
Winners for the eighth grade boys' team were Hale Bowen, Gage Sandlin, Cory Bustos, Devon Rooney, Matt Karst and Aaron Hendryx.
Kyler Hoopingarner was a triple winner to pace the seventh grade girls. Kaitlyn Chaney, Madeleine Laymon and Rylee Willam all took two wins apiece. Other winners included Madison Grizzle, Amara Eckert, Macy Niswander and Kendyl Coles.
Charlotte Borland swept the 100, 200 and 400 to pace the eighth grade girls. She also teamed with Larissa Johnson, Alyssa Voght and Bailey Hughnes to win the 400-meter relay.
Josie Barscz won the high jump and Amaya Torres captured the shot put.
