Haught sets three new Crestview marks in track win

Ricky Haught set three new school records to lead the Crestview Middle School sixth and seventh grade boys' track team past visiting Lakeview on Wednesday, April 23.
Haught got his new marks in the sprints, winning the 100-meter dash in :12.26, the 200-meter dash in :25.36 and the 400-meter dash in :58.54.
Nate Burns helped the Crestview cause by wining both hurdles races, and Dale Burnau won the discus and placed second in the shot put.
Haught added a second place in the long jump, and Jacob Wust was runner-up in both the 800 and 1,600-meter runs. Isaac Brown was second in the 110-meter hurdles and Ben Johnson was second in the 200-meter hurdles.
The Crestview eighth grade boys were beaten, 87-22.
Xander Lujon and Austin Spahr got the only wins for Crestview, with Lujon taking the 200 meters and Spahr winning the high jump.
Lujon also placed second in the 100 and Spahr was runner-up in the 400.
Eric Reust added second in the 200 hurdles and third in the 100 hurdles. Kahlib Bustos was third in both the 800 and 1,600.
