The Huntington University volleyball team wrapped up its season Saturday, Nov. 2, at the Lourdes University Tri-Match where it went 1-1 to finish the year with an overall record of 8-23.

Later that day, Huntington was on the other end of an 0-3 match against Lourdes as the fell to the Gray Wolves, 20-25, 20-25, 22-25.
Statistically, the Foresters kept things close in nearly every category but were never able to get over the hump. Lourdes cranked out 10.5 team blocks to Huntington's ten and outhit their visitors 35-29.
Audrey Mallers and Melissa Grossman paced the team with eight and seven kills, respectively. Pulse came up big at the net defensively to finish with six blocks while Keister added four. Carnahan handed out 25 assists. Codie Morey registered 13 digs.
Huntington just missed a spot in the league tourney. The Foresters finished Crossroads League play in a tie with Goshen for eighth place. They split their two matches head-to-head but since the Maple Leafs won five sets to HU's four, Goshen received the eight seed and will advance to the league tournament.
