Hannah Williams scored a pair of goals and Paige Coolman recorded her fifth shutout of the season as the Huntington North High School girls' varsity soccer team defeated Columbia City, 2-0, at the Homestead Soccer Sectional on Tuesday, Oct. 8.

The Lady Vikings will face Homestead, a 9-0 winner over Fort Wayne North Side on Tuesday, on Thursday, Oct. 10, at 5 p.m. for the title.

Williams, a sophomore, tallied once in each half, and Coolman, a senior, made that stand up with eight saves on the afternoon.

Williams tallied unassisted in the first half, then used a Bailey Martin pass to break free for her second-half score.

Columbia City goalkeeper Tessa Cochran kept her team in the game by making 12 saves on the day.
