The Huntington University golf team finished 11th out of 11 teams at the University of Saint Francis Fall Invitational, played on Friday, Oct. 4, and Saturday, Oct. 5.
The Foresters shot a 313 on Friday and followed up with a 315 on Saturday to post a 628, six shots behind 10th place Manchester and 44 strokes off the score posted by champion Indiana Wesleyan.
Ryan Boester carded a seven-over-par 151 to finish in a tie for 18th overall. Lance Hoch shot a 154 to claim 32nd. Devin Dale and Derek Zurcher turned in a 159 and 164, respectively, to round out Huntington's scoring.
Indiana Wesleyan's 584 was seven strokes better than runner-up Spring Arbor. Siena Heights shot a 594, Mount Vernon a 599 and Bethel a 601.
