After spotting visiting Mount Vernon Nazarene University a two-goal lead at halftime, the Huntington University men's soccer team stormed back in the second half with three goals and defeated the Cougars, 3-2, on Wednesday, Sept. 25.
Ryan Pickup put the Foresters on the board at the 51:30 mark. Josh Codd netted the equalizing goal at 67:36 with some help from Isaac Wust, who then turned goal-scorer himself, kicking what proved to be the game's winning score minutes later, at 69:10, off an assist by Paul Holliday.
Huntington improves to 5-5, 1-1 in the Crossroads League.
Goalkeeper Drew Mattingly recorded two saves in 90 minutes for the win.
