HU women booters lose to Cornerstone

After a scoreless first half, the Huntington University women's soccer team yielded a trio of unanswered goals to visiting Cornerstone University to fall 3-0, on Saturday, Sept. 7.
The Foresters, 1-5, were outshot on goal 11-5 by the Golden Eagles, who got scores from Amanda Schutter, Lexie Brisson-Fast and Jessica Erny.
Senior goalkeeper Caitlin Adams made eight saves for the Foresters in the losing effort. Adams' Golden Eagle counterpart, Megan Lamb, recorded five stops for the win.
