HU men's tennis team dominates Taylor in sweep

The Huntington University men's tennis team dominated host Taylor University on Tuesday, Sept. 3, with a 9-0 sweep.
The Foresters improved to 2-1 overall, and 2-0 in Crossroads League play.
Vlad Khudziy at first singles and Diego Inurritegui at third singles both only dropped one game in two sets to lead the domination. Khudziy torched Carlos Guarin, 6-0, 6-1, and Inurritegui topped Collin Williams by the same margin.
Joseph Straznicky at second singles was a 6-2, 6-2 winner over Cameron Boehning; Jose Hungria at third singles defeated Austin Lindner, 6-2, 6-1; Joe Brenneman at fifth singles went to three sets to defeat Michael Reynolds, 2-6, 7-6, 10-6; and Zakk Sparks at sixth singles got Kenny Cassidy in three sets, 5-7, 6-3, 10-6.
Khudziy and Hungria at first singles had an easy time with Cassidy and Reynolds in an 8-1 win, but the other two doubles teams had to fight hard for their wins. Straznicky and Inurritegui defeated Guarin and Williams, 9-7, and Sparks and Brenneman took down Boehning and Lindner, 8-6.
