Riverview's seventh-graders beat McCulloch on gridiron

The Riverview Middle School eighth grade football team lost to Marion McCulloch 6-0 in an evenly-matched game on Tuesday, Sept. 29.

Marion scored a touchdown in the fourth quarter with three minutes left in the game. A last drive by the Raiders stalled, and time ran out.

Riverview's seventh grade football team fared better than their older counterparts, shutting out Marion 14-0.

Drew Fawcett rushed for 63 yards, and quarterback Dustin Campbell had two passes for 39 yards. The duo of Chad Champion and Shawn Renz led the defense, getting four tackles each.
