Huntington Catholic beat Montpelier in volleyball

The Huntington Catholic Schools' seventh grade volleyball team defeated Montpelier in three games, with scores of 15-25, 25-14, 15-9, on Tuesday, Sept. 22.

Madison Jennings led scoring for HCS in the first set with three points.

Jennings also led in the second set, with 11 points. Brianne Coburn added three points.

In the final set, Macayla Caley had seven points to lead the team.

The Huntington Catholic eighth grade team also won over Montpelier in three sets, with scores of 24-25, 25-23, 15-5.

Caley led the team in the first set with seven points, and Woolard had three points.

In the second game Caley had seven points and Teusch had four points.

Courtney Scher led the team in the last set with four points, and Kreider and Niswander each had three points.
