Forester trackmen 10th at Little State Championships

The Huntington University men's track and field team finished 10th of out 12 teams at the Indiana Little State Championships hosted by Indiana Wesleyan University on Friday, April 12, and Saturday, April 13.
Daniel DeBoni was the Foresters' top performer, accounting for 11 of the team's 18 points.
The freshman captured third in the 100-meter dash in :11.11 and fourth in the 200-meter dash in :22.81.
Huntington found only a point in distance races, with Nathan Rupp's eighth in the 10,000-meter run in 33:49.74, and in field events, with Jake Nash's eighth in high jump of 1.88 meters.
The Foresters had a little more luck in relays, as the 400-meter team took fifth in "44.22 for four points and the 3,200-meter squad made eighth for a point.
The University of Indianapolis won the meet with a tally of 152.
