Viking bowlers trounce Jay County, 19-1

The Huntington North High School boys' varsity bowling team trounced visiting Jay County, 19-1, on Saturday, Dec. 8.

The Hoosier Conference-leading Vikings were paced in the first game by Adam Harris-Shoemaker's 237, followed by Zac Tackett's 212, Tyler Krepp's 188, Trent Kline's 175 and A.J. Bickel's 160. The team won all five individual matches and topped the Patriots in pin fall to receive five bonus points.

Krepp led the Vikings in the second game with a 247, followed by Harris-Shoemaker's 246, Tackett's 181, Bickel's 158 and Jon Scott's 148. Four of the five individual matches went to Huntington North and they again bested Jay County in pin fall to receive five bonus points.

The Vikings toppled 1,952 pins on the match.
