Viking bowlers shoot down Bellmont

The Huntington North High School boys' varsity bowling team won big over Bellmont, 18-2, at Berne on Saturday, Nov. 17.

In the first game, the Vikings won three of the five possible points and also five points for most pins.

Zac Tackett led the team with a 203. Adam Harris-Shoemaker rolled a 200, Tyler Krepp tallied a 195, Trent Kline had a 146 and A.J. Bickel followed with a 144.

Huntington North won the maximum 10 points in game two, thanks in part to Krepp's match-high game of 227. Krepp tally was followed by Tackett's 210, Bickel's 202, Harris-Shoemaker's 186 and Chad Kramer's 158.

The Vikings toppled 1,871 pins en route to the victory.

In junior varsity action, Huntington North fell 10-8. Kramer led the team in the first game with a 177 and Jon Scott was the Viking's high man in the second with a 165.
