The Huntington North High School girls' varsity golf team lost to Southwood High School 205-209 at a three-way meet on Thursday, Sept. 3, at Mill Creek Golf Course in Rochester.
Tippecanoe Valley High School was also present at the meet, but did not have enough players for a varsity team, so no score was recorded.
Kelly Myers was the leader for the Lady Vikes, carding a 48. Liz Conley and Morgan O'Banion each had 53, Maddie Meese had 55 and Maureen Lund scored a 59.
For Southwood, Medalist Mary Farlow had a 47, Jessica Pegg scored 49, Madi Taylor had 53, Andrea Dillon carded 56 and Sydney Simpson had 80
Paige Widener shot a 57 to lead the HNHS JV team. Shawna Titus carded a 60, Tasha Moon shot a 62 and Laurisa Richard had a 65.
