Crestview boys' basketball teams open with wins

Both Crestview Middle School boys' basketball teams opened their seasons with wins over host Logansport Columbia on Tuesday, Nov. 13.

The Crestview Middle School seventh grade boys' basketball rode 14 points from Ian McCutcheon to a 31-12 win.

Austin Spahr added four points and Mason Landrum tallied three for Crestview.

Trent Cissell was a standout on defense, blocking six shots.

The CMS eighth-graders used a balanced offensive effort to nail a 38-22 win.

Matt Guhl scored eight points for the Cougars, Patrick Miller tallied seven and Ben Bentz and Noah Gass added six and five, respectively.

Hunter Holloway grabbed a team-high nine rebounds.
