Forester soccermen snap loss streak at 3 as Essig nets pair

The Huntington University men's soccer team snapped a three-game losing streak on Saturday, Oct. 20, with a win over visiting Saint Francis in its regular season finale.

The 2-0 victory improves the Foresters' record to 8-8-2 and 3-6 in Crossroads League play.

Jake Essig was responsible for both of Huntington's goals, netting one in each half. Jordan Jatzek assisted on the second goal.

Drew Mattingly recorded the shutout in goal for the Foresters and made five saves.
