The Huntington University volleyball team gave visiting Mount Vernon Nazarene University a competitive match across three sets, but it wasn't enough to avoid the sweep on Saturday, Oct. 20.
The Foresters fall to 4-21 and 2-14 in Crossroads League play with the 22-25, 25-27, 20-25 defeat.
Brittany Rooze contributed to Huntington's offensive and defensive efforts with 10 kills and seven digs. Codie Morie was a multitasker as well, leading the team in digs, with 15, and in assists, with 29.
Heather Medich and Melissa Grossman chipped in on offense eight kills and seven kills, respectively.
