Roughley finds 'Commander's Golden Egg' at Roanoke Easter Egg Hunt

Aiden Roughley, of Roanoke, won a special Easter basket for finding the “Commander’s Golden Egg” at the Roanoke American Legion Post 160 Ester Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 20.

Twelve other children also won prizes at the hunt as there were four age groups, with three winners in each group.

Gianna McClure won first place in the 0-3 age group, with Nola Frame second and Kinley Kuehnert taking third.

Luke Dolby won the 4-6 age group, with Kynsington Rodgers taking second and Lily Arset taking third.

Jason Couch took first in the 7-9 age group. Kaidyn Flohr was second and Arianna Mattingly was third.

Jaylyn Durnell won the 10-12 age group, with Chloe Couch taking second and Autumn Cline taking third.
