A trio of lighted carolers stand in front of a host of other Christmas displays in Shakespeare Gardens, in Huntington, after the official lighting ceremony Sunday evening, Nov. 27. The lights at Shakespeare Gardens and the adjoining Sunken Gardens, along with a dancing tree at Rotary Centennial Park, will be on every evening through Jan. 3 from approximately 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Additional light displays at Rotary Centennial Park and on light poles in downtown Huntington will be turned on for the same hours as soon as some bugs are worked out, city officials say. The lights on the dancing tree will be coordinated to music played on radio station 87.9; a different set of tunes will be played on 98.3 to coordinate with the light show on the downtown light poles.
