Nancy Badders, 68, of Huntertown, IN, and having family members in Roanoke, IN, died Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, at 6:08 a.m. at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.
Mrs. Badders graduated from Central Catholic High School, Fort Wayne, in 1963. She retired in 2008 from C&A Tool, where she had been employed for 12 years. She had previously been employed by Food Marketing for 12 years. She was a member of St. Gaspar Catholic Church, Rome City.
She was born July 28, 1945, in Fort Wayne to Frank and Jane Wayer Kahn. She married Thomas Badders on July 6, 1963, in Fort Wayne, and he survives.
Additional survivors include three sons, Keith Charles Badders, Brad James (Wendy) Badders and Brian Thomas (Rachel) Badders, all of Huntertown; two daughters, Kimberly Ann (John) Wilson and Beth Brenda Badders, both of Fort Wayne; three brothers, Frank (Bonnie) Kahn and James (Robin ) Kahn, both of Roanoke, and Robert (Mary) Kahn; and eight sisters, Francis (Richard) Dunno, Ilene (Steven) Pence and Kathrine (Larry) Christman, all of Fort Wayne; Mary (Dan) Thiel, of Garrett; Judith (David) Malinowski, of Rome City: Patricia (Terry) Fosnaugh, of Huntertown; Deborah (Carl) Mosher, of Wolcottville; and Christine (Steve) Bacon, of Avilla.
Calling is Monday, Dec. 30, 2013, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a memorial service at 7 p.m., at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013, at 10 a.m. at St. Gaspar Catholic Church, Churubusco. Rev. Bernard Ramenaden will officiate.
