Alvin D. "Al" Hamman, 58, of Warren, IN, died Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013, at midnight at his residence in Warren.
Mr. Hamman graduated from the Ayersville High School, Ayersville, OH. He was the owner of the Vac Shop in Defiance, OH, and Rhonda's Boxworks. He was a member of the Bluffton Church of Christ.
He was born June 22, 1955, in Defiance, OH, to Floyd A. "John" and Marjorie Justice Hamman. His mother survives in Defiance, OH. He married Rhonda K. Driver on July 1, 1989 in Defiance, OH, and she survives.
Additional survivors include four sons, Aric David, of Defiance, OH; Andy R. (Heather S.) Dunno, of Fort Wayne; and James E. Dunno and Casey Homer Dunno, both of Warren; three brothers, Floyd E. (Linda) Hamman, of Defiance, OH; Steve (Leotta) Anderson, of Ohio City, OH; and Terry (Sherlene) Bowser, of McComb, OH; and 10 grandchildren, Machelle Hamman, Shane Leazier, Arion Hamman, Makayla Berry, Xander Dunno, Kiera Searles, Izaya Dunno, Zane Dunno, Addyson Dunno and Kalia Richardson.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013 at 1 p.m. at the Knight Bergman Center, 132 S. Nancy St., Warren. A celebration will follow at the center.
