Rev. Richard LePage, 68, of Rockford, OH, and having ties to Huntington, IN, died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013, at his home.
He was the pastor of numerous churches, including the Loon Creek Church of the Brethren, Huntington. He also pastored churches in Willshire, OH; LaPlace, IL; and in Bobo, Decatur and Goshen.
Rev. LePage graduated from Clear Creek High School in 1963 and earned a bachelor's degree and Master of Christian Ministry from Huntington College. He served in Vietnam with the United States Army. He was a member of Praise Point Community Church, in Wilshire, OH, and the Rockford, OH, Lions Club.
He was born Jan. 6, 1945, in Warsaw to Rev. Herbert and Donnabelle Thomas LePage. He married Roberta Beeks on July 12, 1970, and she survives.
Additional survivors include a son, Randy (Amy) LePage, of Wabash; a daughter, Rachael Annette (David) Brodbeck, of Huntington; a sister, Carolyn (Larry) Welborn, of Delphi; two brothers, Danny (Glenda) LePage, of Delphi, and Larry (Sarah) LePage, of Lafayette; and four grandsons, Michael Allen LePage, Gabriel Douglas LePage, Garrett Wade Brodbeck and Ethan Robert Brodbeck.
Calling is Thursday, Nov.7, 2013, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, 111 W. First St., Rockford, OH. A service will be held on Friday, Nov. 8, 2013, at 10 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service, at the Praise Point Community Church, Wilshire, OH, with Rev. Brad Kittle officiating. Burial will be at Stringtown Cemetery, Rockford, with military rites conducted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars chapter of Celina, OH.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Gideons International Bible ministry, State of the Heart Hospice or Praise Point Community Church.
