Donald D. Henline, 76, of Huntington, IN, died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, at 2:08 a.m. at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Fort Wayne.
Mr. Henline was the owner and operator of Don Henline Towing. He grew up in Roanoke, and graduated from Huntington High School in 1955. He was a member of Etna Avenue Wesleyan Church, past vice president of Huntington Jaycees and was a former member of Andrews Lions Club and Izaak Walton League.
He was born Sept. 21, 1937, in Huntington County to Harley M. and Luestra Rice Henline. He married Margaret Joe Walters on Dec. 14, 1958, in Huntington. She preceded him in death on Oct. 18, 2001.
Surviving are a daughter, Judy Elaine (Gary) Snider, of Huntington; a son, Jerry Lynn (Betty) Henline, of Warsaw; a brother, Harley "Sonny" Henline, of Huntington; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Calling is Monday, Sept. 30, 2013, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Deal-Rice Funeral Home-Huntington Chapel, 338 E. Washington St., Huntington. Calling will also be held for one hour precededing the Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013 funeral service at 10 a.m., at Etna Avenue Wesleyan Church, 1131 Etna Ave., Huntington. Rev. Tom Bradley will officiate. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory.
