American Business Women's Day will be celebrated on Saturday, Sept. 28, with a lunch and program at Huntington University's Habecker Dining Commons.
ABW Day is celebrated across the nation in September and is hosted locally by the Forks of the Wabash Chapter of the American Business Women's Association. Both ABWA members and non-members are invited to attend to learn more about the organization.
The afternoon begins with a social time from 11:30 a.m. to noon, with the lunch and speaker set for noon to 2 p.m.
The guest speaker is Tina Ackles, ABWA national president.
An optional fun event, "Wine and Canvas Painting," will be held at 3 p.m.

The Forks of the Wabash Chapter of ABWA meets on the third Wednesday of each month, beginning with a social time at 6 p.m. and a business meeting and speaker from 6:30 p.m. to approximately 8 p.m.
