Marilyn J. Minnich, 80, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at 8:40 a.m. at Heritage Pointe, Warren, IN.
Mrs. Minnich graduated from Bluffton High School in 1950. A former resident of Bluffton, she had worked for Indiana Bell Telephone for eight years and was a bookkeeper at Graden's Tire for 20 years. She was a member of the First Reformed Church in Bluffton.
She was born Oct. 7, 1932, in Bluffton to Charles and Bertha Graden Maddux. She married Floyd L. Minnich on Dec. 25, 1951, in Bluffton. Her husband survives.
Additional survivors include two sons, Joseph (Kim) Minnich, of Bluffton, and Timothy (Lori) Minnich, of Fort Wayne; a daughter, Cynthia (Craig) Stauffer, of Bluffton; a sister, Dorothy (Frederick) Sprunger, of Bluffton; six grandchildren, Scott (Amy) Minnich, Jenny (Eric) Borror, Andy (Hillary) Minnich, Megan (Steve) Whitsitt, Nick (Kristen) Minnich and Lauren Stauffer; and eight great-grandchildren.
A service was held on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel, Bluffton, with Dr. Bryson E. Bell officiating. Burial was at Six Mile Cemetery.
