Neil T. Minick, 73, of Fort Wayne, IN, and having family members in Roanoke, IN, died Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at his home.
Mr. Minick was retired from Lee's Lawn and Garden, New Haven.
He was born April 7, 1939, in Fort Wayne to Clem and Mary Elizabeth Rorick Newman.
Survivors include two daughters, Susan (Bobby) Byrd, of Ridgeway, VA, and Jayneann Smith, of Fort Wayne; three sons, Ron (Jennifer) Minick, of Roanoke, and David Lee (Michelle) Minick and Thomas (Tricia) Minick, both of Fort Wayne; two stepsons, Edward (Kathy) Jacoby of Winterhaven, FL, and Daniel (Tina) Jacoby, of Roanoke; a stepdaughter, Becky (Kent) Pridgen, of Fort Wayne; three sisters, Marlene (Paul) Haudenschild, Dorothy (John) Sauter and Rita (Tom) Nichter, all of Fort Wayne; two brothers, Carl (Sharon) Minick, of Huntertown, and Kenneth (Char) Minick, of New Haven; 22 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a former wife, Linda Huguenard, in 1998. He is survived by a companion and former wife, Cecilia Bargy, of Fort Wayne.
Calling is Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a vigil service at 4:30 p.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church-Hessen Cassel, 1137 Old Decatur Road South, Fort Wayne.
