Elizabeth “Loyett" Boggs

Elizabeth “Loyett" Boggs, 95, of Huntington, died Thursday, October 22, 2020, at 8:45 a.m., at her daughter’s house in Huntington.
Mrs. Boggs retired from Wabash County Hospital after 13 years of service.

She was born on Oct. 7, 1925, in Mount Carmel, to Lora and Margaret Davidson. She was first married to Joseph L. Catterton, who preceded her in death. She then married Lawrence Boggs on June 15, 1972, in Whitesburg, KY. He preceded her in death on June 14, 2010.

Survivors include two sons, David Catterton and James (Cindy) Catterton, both of Wabash County; two daughters, Lana (Kenneth) Brosman, and Jane (Michael) Clark, both of Huntington; a step-daughter, Betty Justice, of North Manchester; two step-sons, Larry Boggs, of Wabash, and Laster Boggs, of Silver Lake; a step-daughter, Janice Bucher, of Wabash; 34 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Lenore Wiley and Jean Catterton; two sons, Joseph Catterton and Dyler Catterton; two stepsons, Bill Boggs and Gary Boggs; and a stepdaughter, Wanda Swope.

Calling will be held Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2020, from 3 to 7 p.m., at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2020, at 10 a.m., at Bailey-Love Mortuary, with Taylor Whitacre officiating. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Wabash.
