Frederick Wesemeyer

Frederick Wesemeyer, 86, of Parma, OH, and formerly of Huntington, IN, died on Oct. 9, 2020, in Bloomington.

Mr. Wesemeyer spent his career in the construction industry. He graduated from Maxx S. Hayas Trade School in Cleveland, OH, in 1956, with a major in carpentry. He worked in all facets of construction for 50 years. During the latter part of his career, he served as an Architects Representative on numerous school construction and renovation projects, including on the renovation of Bloomington High School South.

He was born on Dec. 24, 1933, in Parma, OH, to Herman and Clara Wesemeyer. He married Betty Shriner Schultz on March 6, 1976. She survives.

Additional survivors include two sons, Roy Wesemeyer and Fred Schultz;two daughters-in-law; a daughter, Heidi Schultz; and a grandson, William "Bill" Schultz.

A funeral service will be held on Nov. 14, 2020, at 11 a.m. at Genesis Church in Bloomington.
