Jerry Lee Chase

Jerry Lee Chase, 73, of Roanoke, IN, and formerly of Peru, IN, died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2020, at 3:22 a.m. at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.

Mr. Chase graduated from Rising Sun High School in 1965. He was a retired U.S. Air Force veteran and was a fireman for over 20 years.

He was born Feb. 14, 1947, in Milan, to Dilver and Irma Chase Jr.

Survivors include two daughters, Miranda (Brian) Chase Griffith, of Roanoke, and Monica (Rick) Chase Gamble, of Murfreesboro, TN; two sisters, Connie Chase McNeal and Christine Chase Patton, both of Florida; four grandchildren, Kaitlynn Cassel, Kelsee Baker, and Kloee Cassel, all of Peru, and Gabrielle Gamble, of Murfreesboro, TN; and three great-grandchildren, Mason Baker, Roree Baker and Myles Baker, all of Peru.

Calling will be held on Monday, Oct. 12, 2020, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Riverview Funeral Home, 421 W. Canal St., Peru.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2020, at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial with full military rites will be performed at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Peru.
