Ronald E. 'Ron' Horrell

Ronald Eugene “Ron” Horrell, 76, of Huntington, IN, died Wednesday, May 6, 2020, at 8:15 a.m. at Parkview Wabash Hospital.

Mr. Horrell was a 1962 graduate of Clear Creek High School. He was a farmer, a crop insurance adjuster, sold crop insurance and worked at Transwheel Corporation for 25 years. He was a member of Faith Chapel United Methodist Church in Huntington and spent many years as a trustee. He served in the Army National Guard and was a member of the Huntington County 4-H Fair Board for many years.

He was born March 19, 1944, in Huntington to James W. and Corinne C. Kitt Horrell. He married Sue Ann Allen on Nov. 27, 1966, in Warren, and she survives.

Additional survivors include two daughters, Tammy L. (Darrell) Poulson and Julie A. (Adam) Hendryx, both of Huntington; a sister, Janice Bolin, of Warsaw; a sister-in-law, Billie Horrell, of Warren; five grandchildren, Jordyn Poulson, Jenna Poulson, Madison Poulson, Mara Hendryx and Haden Hendryx.

Callling will be Friday, May 8, 2020, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington. A private graveside service will be held in the Masonic Cemetery in Warren, with Rev. Jason Parsons officiating.
