Myron L. 'Mike' Martin

Myron L. "Mike" Martin, 88, of Fort Wayne, IN, and having family in Huntington County, IN, died Saturday, March 7, 2020, in Fort Wayne.

Mr. Martin graduated from Van Buren High School in 1949. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Later he was honored to participate in the Fort Wayne Honor Flight. He worked for the Tokheim Corporation for more than 39 years and was a member of Avalon Missionary Church.

He was born in Roanoke to Lawrence and Iva Stierwalt Martin. He married Helen Martin, and she preceded him in death.

He is survived by two daughters, Linda Martin, of Fort Wayne, and Cindy (Don) Grodrian, of Monroeville; a son, David (Debbie) Martin, of Fort Wayne; three grandchildren, Melissa (fiancé Andy Petras) ??? of Fort Wayne; Emily Martin, of Muncie; and Natalie (Brendon) McCully of North Olmsted, OH; three stepgrandchildren, Steve (Maria) Grodrian, of Monroeville; Donna Lepper, of Markle; and Kurtis Grodrian, of Huntington; four step great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-great-grandchildren.

Calling is Saturday, March 14, 2020 ,from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St., Fort Wayne. A funeral service will be held immediately following at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery.
