Blanch B. Willette

Blanch B. Willette, 80, of Bluffton, IN, and having family in Huntington, IN, died Monday morning, March 9, 2020, at Ossian Health & Rehab Center in Ossian.

Mrs. Willette was a homemaker and managed Senior living apartments and shopping centers for Melvin Simon.

She was born July 2, 1939, in Bluffton to George and Annabell Leach Betz. She married Bruce R. Willette on Jan. 31, 1959, in Tennessee, and he preceded her in death in 2014.

She is survived by a son, Chris (Vickie) Bryan, of Niles, MI; four brothers, Homer Betz, of Frankton; Joseph Betz, of Decatur; James “Jim” (Treva) Betz, of rural Poneto; and Robert (Anni) Betz, of Indianapolis; five sisters, Esther Clements, of Indianapolis; Laura Zent, of Huntington; Wilma Ohern, of Harford City; and Carolyn Johnson and Linda (John) Stinson, both of Bluffton; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Brett E. Willette.

Calling is Thursday, March 12, 2020, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Thoma/Rich, Lemler Funeral Home, 308 W. Washington St., Bluffton. A funeral service will be held immediately following at 3 p.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. Wayne Guillon officiating. Entombment will follow at the Northridge Community Mausoleum at Fairview Cemetery in Bluffton.
