Donald E. Goff

Donald E. Goff, 91, of Wabash, IN, and having family in Roanoke, IN, died Friday, Feb. 14, 2020, at 1:30 a.m. at Miller's Merry Manor East in Wabash.

Mr. Goff was a 1946 graduate of Chippewa High School. He was a United States Army veteran and ran a truck crane in Korea. He was a self-employed heavy equipment operator and an excavating contractor. He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Wabash and the Warsaw American Legion Post 49.

He was born May 21, 1928, in Marion to Roger and Hazel Watson Goff. He married Helenjean Biltz on Aug. 26, 1950, at the St. Bernard Catholic Church in Wabash, and she survives.

Additional survivors include a son, Steven M. (Donna) Goff, of Wabash; three grandchildren, Justice C. (Raquel) Goff, of Indiana; Ella (Davin) Smith, of Roanoke; and Margaret (Scott) Hare, of Chapel Hill, TN; a brother, Maurice (Vickie) Goff, of Richvalley; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Calling is Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2020, from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave., Wabash, with a rosary service at 6:30 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2020, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 188 W. Sinclair St., Wabash. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
