Randell Webb

Randell Webb, 74, of North Manchester, Indiana, and having ties to Huntington, IN, died Feb. 5, 2020, at 8:40 p.m.

After graduating from Logan High School, Logan, WV, in 1963, Mr. Webb joined the United States Navy. During his time in the military, he worked in communications and served in the Vietnam War. After being honorably discharged, he moved back to North Manchester. He worked at Ford Meter Box for 38 years before retiring in 2008. He also was a pastor in the United Methodist Churches for 15 years, including in Huntington, before retiring. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, North Manchester, the American Legion and a bowling league for Ford Meter Box.

He was born March 10, 1945, in Paintsville, KY, to Norman and Fannie Mae Webb Webb. He married Rachel E. Penrod on June 25, 1965, and she survives.

Additional survivors include two sons, Matthew Shawn (Pattie) Webb and Britain Scott Webb, both of North Manchester; three daughters, Tawn S. (Timothy) McLaughlin, of North Manchester, and Michelle R. (David) Dowd, of Cortland, WV, and Taren K. (Clay) McCullough, of Columbia City; 16 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Calling is Monday, Feb. 17, 2020, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Manchester United Methodist Church, 306 E. Second St., North Manchester. A funeral service will be held immediately after at 5 p.m., with Rev. Steve Bahrt officiating. Burial will be at Gardens of Memory, 11201 S. MarionRd.-35, Marion, at a later date.
