Roberta A. King

Roberta Ann King, 90, a lifelong resident of Marion, IN, and having family in Van Buren, IN, died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2020, at 9:30 p.m. in Marion.

Mrs. King graduated from Marion High School in 1948. She worked in payroll for Malleable. She attended Immanuel Baptist Church in Marion and was involved with XYZ and Cowboy Church at Grace Community Church.

She was born Dec. 31, 1929, in Marion to Clarence and Ona Culley Rudicel. She married Russell King on Jan. 27, 1951, and he survives.

Additional survivors include a son, Victor (Pam) King, of Matthews; three daughters, Marita King, of Van Buren,
And Joanna Gephart and Donna (Mike) Henderson, of Marion; a sister, Delores Henderson, of Marion; a sister-in-law, Ruth Love, of Marion; 10 grandchildren, Miranda (Jason) Leonard, of Gas City; Delaney King, Trisha Gephart and Cameron (Billie) King, all of Marion; Erin (Charles) Smith, of Noblesville; Christie (Noah) Farmer, of Gas City; Morgan King of Matthews; Shawn Gephart, of Upland; Christopher (Tina) Beckett, of Gambrills, MD; and Chad (Jessica) Henderson, of Jonesboro; 24 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Annalysa McMillan.

Calling is Sunday, Feb. 9, 2020, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN. A service of celebration will be held on Monday, Feb. 10, 2020, at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Ray Kughen officiating. Burial will follow at Estates of Serenity.
