David L. Conley

David L. Conley, 66, of Huntington, IN, died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2020, at 8:00 a.m. at his home.

Mr. Conley attended Huntington North High School and served in the United States Marines during the Vietnam War. He worked at Sealtest in Huntington for 15 years and was an over-the-road truck driver for Jet Trucking.

He was born July 20, 1953, in Huntington to Melvin E.  “Ed” Conley and Mildred L. (Springer) Doyle. He married Deborah L. Thompson on June 30, 1979, in Huntington, and she survives.

Additional survivors include two daughters, Renna D. Conley and Regina A. (Andrew) Schenkel, both of Huntington; a brother, Don G. (Joy) Conley, of Huntington; a sister, Shirley A. Chamberlain, of Agness, OR; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Calling is Thursday, Jan. 23, 2020, from 10 a.m. to noon at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington. Military graveside rites performed by VFW Post 2689 of Huntington will follow at 2 p.m. in Marion National Cemetery.
